About the Author
Ross Alpert
Warrior. Poet. Philosopher.
Ross Alpert is a former U.S. Army Infantry Sergeant, Combat Infantryman Badge recipient, and former private military contractor. He served two deployments to Operation Iraqi Freedom with the 4th Infantry Division. His experiences inform his fiction, bringing a soldier’s perspective to stories of brotherhood, sacrifice, faith, and the struggle against corruption.
His novels, Beware the Fury of the Legion and Book of the Dead, explore the bonds forged between warriors and the challenges that follow them home. Veteran mental health is a cause close to his heart, and his writing confronts the isolation, loss, and search for purpose that many veterans face.
Beyond writing, Ross is the Founder and Managing Partner of Berserker General LLC and Vice President of Trepla Enterprises LLC. His interests include finance, private equity investing, and grant writing.
A father of three based in Tampa, Florida, Ross enjoys spearfishing, hunting, shooting, and weightlifting, with an emphasis on health and nutrition. Family, community, and the enduring bonds of brotherhood remain central to his life and work.
